ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ will shortlist applicants for interview after the advert closing date.
We will be looking for evidence that you meet all of the essential criteria listed in the person specification and, ideally, some or all of the desirable criteria.
You will receive an email either inviting you to interview or advising you that you have not been shortlisted. If this is the case we hope this does not deter you from applying for roles in the future and we strongly encourage you to to stay up to date with our current job vacancies.Â
Interviews
Interview panels will usually include the line manager for the job and other stakeholders from within the university.
You may also be asked to undertake other selection activities, for example, presentations or computer-based tests. Details of these arrangements will be given in your invitation to interview email.
Appointment
If you are successfully appointed to the post you have applied for, you will be sent an appointment letter including details of your offer of employment with ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥. Your employment with us will be conditional upon you satisfying some or all of the following requirements as applicable to the role:
- References
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Proof of Identity
- Evidence of Qualifications
- Evidence of Professional Registration
- Medical Clearance
- Disclosure of any relevant unspent convictions
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
