ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s Festival of Learning is back with a bang this summer, with more than 150 free events and activities on offer.
The Festival takes place from Saturday 11 to Friday 17 July, with a wide range of interactive workshops and seminars.
These include family-friendly activities, professional development opportunities, sports events, theatre performances and chances to find out more about the work and research taking place at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥.
New this year will be a family day on Saturday 11 July, with a host of events suitable for all ages and interests - including arts, crafts, and science activities for kids; a performance by the ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Dementia Institute (ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥DI) Orchestra; and the chance to take part in psychology experiments.
Professor John Vinney, Vice-Chancellor of ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥, said: “Over the course of the week, we’ll have over 150 events ranging from interactive workshops, family activities and public lectures to opportunities to get involved in our research.
“Whether you’re part of a business, looking for something different to do with the family, or are simply inspired by learning new things - there’s something for everyone.â€
The Festival of Learning is now in its third year, and last year attracted more than 5,000 visits.
All events and activities are free and open to the public, taking place at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s Talbot Campus and at locations across Dorset throughout the day and evening.
