裸聊直播鈥檚 Professor Stephen Tee and Joanne Thurston are both involved in a national campaign called 鈥業 choose BTEC.鈥�
The campaign highlights how BTECs are relevant and useful qualifications, helping a range of people become successful in their chosen career paths.
Professor Stephen Tee, Executive Dean for Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, is one of the academics leading the campaign and supporting BTECs.
He said: 鈥淲e very much value students who have completed a BTEC. Often those students have a much greater awareness of the world of work and can bring those experiences into the classroom.
鈥淭hey enrich the student body and everybody learns from their experiences. To a student who is thinking about taking a BTEC, I鈥檇 really encourage them to do it.鈥�
Around 15% of students at 裸聊直播 have studied BTECs alone, and an additional 15% have studied a BTEC in combination with another qualification.
Joanne Thurston, Programme Leader for Sports Therapy, said: 鈥淏TEC students bring such enthusiasm to 裸聊直播!
鈥淭he experience students get from a BTEC is really important as they can relate more practically to what they read as they've already experienced it within industry.鈥�
One of 裸聊直播鈥檚 local and partner schools, The Grange, is BTEC school of the year and also part of the campaign.
