An 80,000 word PhD thesis would take 9 hours to present, your time limit鈥�3 minutesis happy to announce that this year we will be running the first official Three Minute Thesis (3MT庐) event at 裸聊直播. 3MT庐 is an academic research communication competition developed by celebrating the exciting research conducted by PhD students around the world.
The competition cultivates students鈥� academic, presentation, and research communication skills. Presenting in a 3MT庐 competition increases capacity to effectively explain research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. Competitors are allowed one static PowerPoint slide, but no other resources or props.
this year鈥檚 3MT庐 UK finalists presentations which was hosted at the Vitae Researcher Development International Conference where the winner received a 拢3,000 grant to spend on public engagement activity (sponsored by RCUK).
The 裸聊直播 University winner will receive up to 拢400 towards a conference of their choice, plus entry into competition, plus a 拢100 Amazon voucher.
