students at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ once again took part in the Continuing Academic Development Presentation competition that takes place twice a year.
In a competitive legal landscape, it is critical that individuals can present and communicate the issues and ideas coherently and professionally to a panel. Several Masters level Law students in the Faculty of Media and Communication accepted the challenge to present on a piece of controversial legislation of their choice.
The student presentations took place at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ where the students faced a panel of critical judges. The presentations awards recognize excellence in oral and visual presentation meeting criteria that address both content and quality of presentation.
The presentation initiative has been driven, over a number of years, by the Faculty of Media and Communications (FMC) Learning Development Lecturer, Dr. Steph Allen, in close collaboration with the FMC Law Team. The awarding panel evaluating the presentations included Dr. Steph Allen, Education Academic in Law Learning Development, Dr. Marc Mimler, Academic and Editor in Chief of the Interactive Entertainment Law Review and past presenter, Luke Nwibo Eda, researcher on Missing Migrants. Prizes awarded kindly supported by FMC’s Dr. Michelle Morgan.
