ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s new strategic plan, ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥2025, has launched this year, to provide direction and shared goals for the university in the next seven year period.
Fusion - ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s focus on bringing together world-class research, excellence in teaching, and professional practice - will continue to be at the heart of the university.
The strategic plan outlines ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s purpose to inspire learning, advance knowledge and enrich society, as well as to support the university’s four values of excellence, inclusivity, creativity and responsibility.
Speaking about ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s new strategic plan, Professor John Vinney, Vice-Chancellor of ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥, said: “ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥2025 is the next step in ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s development, building on our success. We have retained the core of what makes ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ different, and the culture and approach that our students and staff value.
“As we begin the next phase of our strategic plan, ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥2025 outlines our ambition to grow in strategic areas, as well as to display our values of excellence, inclusivity, creativity and responsibility in all that we do. Staff and students will be working together as we continue to see ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ flourish over the next seven years, and far beyond, and I look forward to seeing all that we are going to achieve through this new strategy.â€
