On the weekend of 8Â and 9Â June, 20 teams travelled to Sandbanks to take part in the Ultimate Frisbee Tournament. Teams came from across the country to take home the title.
Saturday started with pool play with teams all fighting for the top-seeded position. We saw some brilliant games across the day with play starting at 09:00 and finishing at 19:00. The Sunday games started even earlier and all hoped to finishing the tournament well.
SportÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ commented on this year’s tournament and said, “It was a fantastic event that showcases the skill involved in Ultimate Frisbee. It was great to see so many familiar faces from our previous events but to also welcome new teams from across the UK. We would like to thank everyone involved in making the event such a success; Bournemouth Heat, Poole Council, LUL-Med Services, Marque Elegance, Speedy Hire, Temporary Fencing and Vanguard Security’.
