We’re looking for students to become Student Accommodation Mentors to help us support the experience of new students starting ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ in September.
Student Accommodation Mentors will be part of a tailored and friendly mentoring team supporting students moving into ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ accommodation for their first year of study. Experience, understanding or awareness of neurodiversity will be helpful in this position.
In this role you will help us to:
- Encourage students to join in with activities and events taking place during the arrivals period
- Motivate students to meet new people
- Help new students transition and settle into university life and belong in the ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ community.
Student Accommodation Mentors will be hired for a total of eight weeks, with up to six hours of work per week. The rate of pay for this role is £13.93 per hour. Successful students are expected to be able to work in person from Monday 16 September.
