1. Computing and Informatics Research Centre (CIRC)

   The Computing and Informatics Research Centre (CIRC) conducts research across a variety of fields with five main areas of focus: Cyber Security, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Future and Complex Networks, Human-Computer Interaction, and Processes and Behaviour Understanding.

2. Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES)

   Foot drop is a temporary or permanent muscular weakness or paralysis that affects people’s ability to lift the front part of the foot and move their toes. FES is a method of externally and electrically controlling muscles to generate movement.

3. Emotional processing

   How we deal with emotional experiences not only impacts the mind, but the body too, according to research carried out by ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s Professor Roger Baker.
