   Marie Curie Fellow Dr Annamaria Neag met with refugee organisations and volunteers, including CivicoZero, a project of Save the Children Italy.

   Emeritus Professor Elizabeth Rosser and Dr Janet Scammell will receive 2021 Sigma International Awards for Nursing Excellence.

   Horses can have a positive effect on individuals with behavioural and mental health issues, according to the results of a ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ research project.

4. Bournemouth schools successful in ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s Industrial Strategy Creative Challenge

   Pupils from two Bournemouth secondary schools will tour Parliament next month and receive an industrial challenge award from Greg Clark MP, Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

   A ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ graduate has set up the world Freestyle Football Federation, with plans to develop healthy active lifestyles for young people through the sport.

8. New Cycle Hub open at Talbot Campus

   We are pleased to announce that our brand-new Cycle Hub is now open for use at our Talbot Campus.

   The Cycle Hub is located behind Dorset House and is part of our sustainability work to support staff, students and visitors to access the university by bike.

   Collaborative project with news industry partners will support regional journalists to produce constructive news content that informs and empowers audiences.
