I am a palaeoecologist, environmental archaeologist and a geoarchaeologist with a focus on Middle Eastern Neolithic Archaeology and Ethnoarchaeology. My research focuses on applying scientific methodologies to investigate human and animal occupation/activity signatures. I recently held a British 鈥�

After gaining a BSc in Biology from the University of Portsmouth in 1992, Iain worked briefly as an industrial chemist before re-entering academia with 裸聊直播 in 1993. The main focus of Iain鈥檚 research is the environmental effect of pollutants. His work has encompassed 鈥�

My research can be subdivided into three main streams which all combine to inform the conservation management of species.
1. Conservation of migratory species
I use a combination of genomic tools, environmental DNA detection and telemetry to inform the conservation management of 鈥�

Academic staff

Matthew鈥檚 passion for geography comes from a childhood spent in Snowdonia and he has worked widely throughout the world on a range of projects. In the 1990s he worked on glacial/Quaternary projects in the Arctic, as well as throughout the UK, funded by NERC and the Royal Society of London. He 鈥�

Dr. Ramin Boroujerdi is a Lecturer in the Department of Life & Environmental Sciences at 裸聊直播, with a strong passion for Analytical and Bioanalytical Sciences and Sensor Development. Over the past years, he has been dedicated to advancing these fields through research and 鈥�

I am an aquatic ecologist who specialises in fish ecology. My research interests cover the impacts on aquatic fauna of anthropogenic stressors, including invasive alien species (including parasites), habitat loss and climate change. I work on issues ranging from the ecological consequences of 鈥�

My research interests centre on understanding the regulation of the adaptive immune system. Specific long-term interests revolve around how T cells can be exploited to enhance cancer immunotherapy and alleviate dysregulation in autoimmune conditions. Currently I am seeking to develop a team to 鈥�

I am a principal academic in sustainability science, passionate about embedding the UN Sustainable Development Goals in my Teaching, Research and Professional Practice. With a PhD in Forest Ecology and over 15 years鈥� experience in conducting research in forest landscapes, I have collaborated 鈥�

I am a geographer with an interest in socio-environmental systems, land use and land cover change and cultural geography. I am particularly interested in how different social, cultural and demographic factors influence land use and land cover change and I typically use remote sensing, 鈥�

Anita is a conservation ecologist who enthusiastically supports wildlife conservation by integrating her research and professional practice activities with mentoring student partners co-creating new knowledge. Anita has a core research interest in conserving the wildlife of cultural habitats 鈥�

Dr Esteban's research interests focus on biodiversity at the microbial level in order to understand and predict the functioning of aquatic systems by characterising microbial biodiversity at local and regional scales, and by defining the role played by microbes in the natural environment and 鈥�

My undergraduate training was in marine biology and ecology (and microalgal culture). My first experience of hands-on research was in the quantification of diatom growth and carbon and nitrogen content. For my PhD work I then further specialised in aquatic microbes by studying the cell biology 鈥�

I'm an ecologist with an interest in social science, so I work on interdisciplinary projects to try and advance sustainability in a variety of ways. In general, my research interests could be summed up as 'where species are found and why, how this will change with climate change, and finding win 鈥�

Tilak Ginige is a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Law at 裸聊直播鈥檚 Faculty of Science & Technology. His research interests include Renewable Energy, Mining Waste, Water Framework Directive, Environmental Liability and Sustainable Development Law. He is a member of the Nordic 鈥�

I obtained my PhD from Edinburgh Medical School鈥檚 Centre for Inflammation Research, working on cellular ageing and the clearance of human blood platelets from circulation. After this, I worked for the Medical Research Council and then joined Edinburgh鈥檚 Circadian Physiology group where I 鈥�

Ross joined 裸聊直播 in 2007 having spent 10 years at the Natural Environment Research Council鈥檚 (NERC) Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (CEH) in the Earth Observation team. Before CEH, he completed a PhD at the University of Wales, Swansea. He also has a 1st class BA (Hons) in Geography from the 鈥�

I investigate genetic uniqueness. My main research area is genetic abnormalities in preimplantation embryos and how they relate to fertility and infertility. I investigate the mechanisms that produce chromosomal abnormalities in human gametes and embryos as well as the development of laboratory 鈥�

Sustainability is a buzzword exploited by many stakeholders across the Global North and South. While a lot of the interventions focus on environmental and economic sustainability, social sustainability is often ignored. This often leads to negative externalities such as modern slavery, food 鈥�

Richard Paul is a bioanalytical chemist with a particular interest in biomarker research for forensic and medical application. Richard is Chief Investigator on a multidisciplinary research project on cancer metabolomics. In collaboration with Dorset County Hospital and Poole Hospital the project 鈥�
