In our university strategy, ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥2025, we see ourselves as a thought leader in sustainability and we measure the success of our leadership by our positive impact on society and the planet, and by ensuring we take the ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ community with us on this journey.

A fundamental part of demonstrating leadership is creating appropriate and robust means to hold ourselves to account – this can take many forms through, for example, external audits, international rankings or a staff and student assembly. At the same time, we want to make sure that the net-zero target is tangible for our staff and students and create new processes to support everyone to contribute.
