CHRS
The Common Human Resources System (CHRS) project is a ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ project with the goal of transforming the Human Resources business processes and practices and consolidating individual campus database instances into a single, centrally managed system.
Over the last several years campus has been working on preparing for CHRS through meetings with project experts who are guiding campuses on upcoming system changes and data clean up through Position Papers. Module documentation that is guiding the design also provides information to understand what will be different in CHRS compared to our current PeopleSoft system.
Why is the CSU implementing CHRS?
CHRS is a streamlined, sustainable, and cost-effective HR system that offers opportunities for collaboration and enhancement across the entire CSU system. CHRS is based on PeopleSoft 9.2 with modifications to make it work for the CSUs business needs. These modifications have been designed by experts from all the CSUs, and are being built by the Chancellor’s Office.
