Welcome to the HumanisingÌýSpecial Interest Group at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥

WeÌýare a group of scholars and practitioners whoÌýhave an interestÌýin what makes us feel human and how this is linked to health and wellbeing. WeÌýuse a lifeworldÌýapproach and subjective experience as the basis forÌýour understanding.

At ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ we have developed a philosophically driven approach to humanising practicesÌýin relation to learning,Ìý service provision,Ìýcaring and the workplace.ÌýIt isÌýbased on existential understandings from a lifeworldÌýapproach and privileges subjective experience and incorporatesÌýembodied knowing. Find out more about humanising practiceÌýand the work at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥.
