Please note, therapy and support animals are different to assistance dogs and will only be permitted in University premises on a case-by-case basis, with the prior written agreement of the University. Please contact us on [email protected] to discuss your request.
How to request accessible accommodation
We want to ensure that we find the right room for you. We will therefore work with you along your booking journey to ensure we get you to where you need to be.
If you disclose a condition that significantly impacts upon your living arrangements and would like to live in ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ accommodation then you will need to be eligible under the standard , wherever possible we will then endeavour to place you in suitable accommodation. Once eligible, as part of your you will need to let us know about your condition. You will then also need to register with the and supply evidence of your condition and let us know how it impacts on your living arangements. An assessment of your needs can then be made to determine if suitable accommodation is required, available and/or reasonable adjustments can be made before your arrival.
If you fall outside of the standard but have a condition that may significantly impact upon your living arrangements, you should contact the Residential Services team to discuss your options.
