Sustainable Transportation

From utilizing public transportation to increasing zero emission vehicle infrastructure, there are several options available to reduce the carbon footprint of campus operations and increase transportation access to ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ students, staff, and faculty.

 

 

ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ STUDENTS: FREE GET BUS PASS, VALID September to May 2025

Pick up your free pass and get unlimited transportation with Golden Empire Transit from September 1 to May 31st, 2025. 

How: Passes will be available at Student Union Front Desk, Facilities Office, and Sustainability Tabling. Please bring your Student ID.

FACULTY & STAFF GET BUS PASSES: 50% OFF

Did you know that ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ offers 50% off monthly GET bus passes to faculty and staff? After the discount, the pass comes out to $20 for 31 consecutive days.

To get your bus pass, go to the ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Cashier's Office and pay with cash or check.
You must bring your faculty or staff ID card.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

There are currently 4 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥. These charging stations are located in Lot M directly next to the Runner Cafe and the Student Union. A valid parking permit is required when using a charging station.

The current fee for using an EV charging station is $1.25 for each of the first 4 hours and $2.50 for each hour thereafter. These stations are part of the ChargePoint network, so remember to set up an account before charging.
